STORYHUB STUDIO GRANT
Storyhub is a division of John O’Hara Consulting devoted to the mission of promoting “Wholesome Family Arts and Entertainment”. Based upon any previous conversations and a submitted synopsis you may receive a recording grant of studio time valued at $50.00/hr. This grant is based upon your performance meeting our “Wholesome Family Arts and Entertainment” mission. Should your actual performance fail to meet this mission your recording will be cancelled and you will be requested to perform “more suitable material”. If you can not produce “more suitable material”, then your session will end and the recording will be erased. We or our designated judges will determine suitability and all suitability judgments are final. You will not be charged for any studio time.
Once you have completed a successful recording you are agreeing to allow that recording to be used in a specified project. The project owner will hold limited copyrights to the collection. We reserve the master recording rights and the rights to all future duplications as a part of this recording grant.
As the artist you hold on the recording and no duplications outside this project will be made without a specific agreement. You will be permitted to use this recording in other projects; however, we reserve the master recording rights and the rights to all future duplications of those projects as a part of this recording grant. Duplication orders can be as small as 10 units. You will be charged $5.00 per CD or $2.50 per cassette with up to 2 sides of 30 minutes of recording time for a cassette or 60 minutes (divisible into 2 30 minute segments for future cassettes) per CD. These duplications are sold wholesale under the assumption that they are intended for resale (not for use as demos). Collection and payment of all applicable taxes will be the responsibility of the retailing party.
In the event that John O’Hara Consulting should decide to discontinue master recording and/or duplication services the artist will receive notice at the last supplied address or phone and be offered the opportunity to purchase the master recording and templates for the cost of the original studio time.
